Not Knowing The Future of The Fur Baby You Bought From a Breeder

Not Knowing the Future of the Fur Baby You Bought From a Breeder

When you start out to go to a “responsible” breeder to find a new addition to your family, everybody is all excited. As stated in a previous blog, there are no responsible breeders.

There is no reason fur a breeder to exist other than fur the greedy breeder to make money fur his/her own monetary greed. We wouldn’t have between nine and thirteen million Fur Babies die needlessly. Everyone who is passionate about Fur Babies,  would agree even if it were only a hundred and not millions, would be a hundred too many.  Even one Fur Baby dying because there’s “no room at the inn”, would be one too many. Why would anyone think there’s a “responsible” breeder?

Ask yourself these questions:

What is a “responsible” breeder” when there are millions of Fur Babies dying needlessly? What is my responsibility when I think I need to buy from a breeder? Am I contributing to the greed of the breeders and the unfortunate life of the females that have no choice but to continuously get impregnated because of the greedy breeder?

Now do you still think there are “responsible” breeders? This applies to bunnies, cats and dogs.

Since we don’t have a crystal ball to see into the future, we are unable to predict the future of buying a dog, cat or bunny from a breeder. We want to talk about what happens to this little baby when your plans change and you no longer want or can keep this little Fur Baby and you upset the security of this precious being.

After Being With Your Family or Just With You Fur a Few Years, You Have to Surrender Them to a Shelter or Rescue.

After surrendering this precious baby, when you’re walking away, do you think about what will happen to this Fur Baby? While you’re walking away, this Fur Baby is wondering why you’re leaving this Fur Baby.

When you don’t return, they start to wonder why they’re left and start to get depressed. (Remember these are not robots and have feelings of pain (physical and emotional), grief, love, depression, scared and probably more, in a different way. They just express emotions differently.)

The couple below who surrendered Goku, didn’t even go to the doctor to have their baby tested to see if he really was allergic to Goku. Maybe he wasn’t. We’ll never know. What I do know is this, after a lot of couples decide to have a baby, they then decide the Fur Baby is expendable. The Fur Baby’s got to go. It’s amazing the excuses humans come up with to “get rid of the pet. They’ll get adopted, because their so cute.” Reality is, no matter how much these humans think this Fur Baby is “so cute”. This is not necessarily so. If you haven’t read the blog, “An Important Message To All Pet Parents”, please read it. This will tell you what really happens when it’s not a No Kill Orphanage.

Even with the best of intentions and because you wanted a certain breed, we understand why you went to a breeder. Below is a story, which proves case in point.

Goku's Story

Goku, a German Shepherd, was purchased from a breeder and lived all six of his years of life with one family. These pet parents decided to have a baby. The baby had asrhma or was allergic to Goku, so the final decision was Goku had to go. There was no seeing if Goku was the problem, it was just that Goku was given up to the Broward County Humane Society in Florida. At the shelter, Goku couldn’t understand WHY whom he thought were his furever parents were deserting him and leaving him at the shelter.

This is just one of the reasons there is no need to purchase from a breeder. This fur baby was so fortunate to have found another home right away. Even when potential pet parents say they know they will keep that fur baby they purchased from a breeder, they have no clue as to what holds in the future.

Goku Could Have Been One of the 9 – 13 Yillion Who Could Have Lost His Life Even Though He Was Purchased From a Breeder.

Just because some people deem some breeders are responsible, remember there are no responsible breeders. Breeders are like someone who traffics young girls fur a sex trade, making money off of the backs of another living being. Unfortunately the female Dog is unable to runaway. In this case, a female dog, whose life is probably more precious than that of the breeder. At least the female dog isn’t looking to make money from the breeder by renting him out as a stud. He might not make her much money.
